Melbourne Australia. - The 2010 National Championships held in Shepperton
Victoria at the beginning of May was Cyclecraft's Australian debut.
Cyclecraft's team manger/rider Dean Conlin walked away with podium finishes
in both 20' and cruiser over the week long event on probably one of the best
tracks ever constructed for a national titles in Australia.
Dean Conlin who only came on board with Cyclecraft a few months ago made
easy work of his 25 competitors in his 35 - 39, 20' class, taking the
national No.1 title with ease. Cruiser was Dean's next target for a podium
finish, unfortunately he didn't have it all his own way. After a
dissappointing gate start, Dean entered into the first corner in 8th
position, determinded to try and make good of the situation, he moved his
Cyclecraft cruiser through the field of riders, ending up with an amazing
3rd place.
The Nationals was a great success for Dean and Cyclecraft Australia, with a
lot of interest shown throughout the weekend about the Cyclecraft name and
product. With the success achieved, Dean will now start to shape a factory
and co-factory team ready for the Queensland state titles in September.
